PI Mélanie Rochoux

I am a research scientist at CECI (Cerfacs/CNRS/IRD) with a strong interest in micrometeorology, partcularly wildfires. I enjoy working on multidisciplinary projects. Wildfires are a fascinating topic in this respect as they lie at the interface between meteorology, ecology, climate science and fire science. Much remains to be done to bring scientists, operational staff, modelers and experimentalists together, to improve our understanding of wildfires and our ability to anticipate their behavior in a changing climate. I am also strongly involved in outreach activities, as we, as a society, must take action to limit climate change and its impacts.
